Midwifery Group Practice - Artwork Expression of Interest 2024
Are you interested in designing an Artwork for the North West Hospital Health Service (NWHHS) Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) and Outreach Service?
We invite First Nations artists from all over the North West to submit an expression of interest to create artwork to be used as a logo on the MGP and Outreach midwives' uniform. The logo will also be used to across many formats including banners, stationary, and merchandise.
The MGP and Outreach service are committed to improving the health of First Nations mothers and families living in the NWHHS. We are committed to supporting the families we work with to being to be strong, healthy and well. This means making sure you feel welcome and relaxed when you come to see us and seeing your art in our clinic and us wearing it.
The midwifery Service works with families in Mount Isa, Cloncurry, Julia Creek, McKinlay, Normanton, Kurumba, Mornington Island and Doomadgee.
To submit an expression of Interest, please include:
- An Artist Biography
- Portfolio of up to three relevant works
- Commitment to complete the chosen artwork in negotiated timeframe.
The successful artist will be paid $2000 on submission of the artwork.
